This is one of those series that will make your day brighter after reading it （or rereading it for the 10th time）。 I really loved the family theme in this one， and how Jesse’s team includes members from all walks of life。 I know Ms。 Breene has a lot of other books releasing this year （and yeah， I really can’t wait for the final DDVN trilogy）， but I really want more of Jesse and Austin NOW。

Well worth the waitI have been looking forward to this book， since I put down the last one- not sure how she could top fart blanket and dangling petunias。。。。 But here we are， this book was epic and has set up book 6 quite nicely。

Hilarious！This book was as good if not better than the first book。 There were some really funny situations and very witty dialogue。 I love that the basajuan has a flatulence problem。 The Ivy house group with all its eccentric members really shine in this book as does Jessie Ironheart。 She has grown into a wonderful character warm and assertive while also becoming truly comfortable with herself。 I was glad that some of the problems I had with Elliot Graves/Sebastion's perceived previous actions a Hilarious！This book was as good if not better than the first book。 There were some really funny situations and very witty dialogue。 I love that the basajuan has a flatulence problem。 The Ivy house group with all its eccentric members really shine in this book as does Jessie Ironheart。 She has grown into a wonderful character warm and assertive while also becoming truly comfortable with herself。 I was glad that some of the problems I had with Elliot Graves/Sebastion's perceived previous actions and choices were addressed and cleared up。 It helped clarify Elliot Grave's morality and ethics from Sebastion's。 This will go a long way in helping me （the reader） understand， start to trust and eventually bond with Sebastion。4。5 。。。more

Romantic， funny， witty and， well。。。magical， as always！Breene continues to impress！ This is by far my favorite PWF series。Magical Midlife Meeting answered many lingering questions， tying up loose ends on many fronts。 Jessie and the Ivy House crew visit Elliot Graves for a magical meetup， and it does not disappoint！ There’s some chaos， great battles， hysterical dialog to make you cackle in glee， and of course， lots of Jess and Austin！！ ❤️I’m so excited for the next book！

This is quite possibly my favorite book in the series。 Each book up until now， had its quirks and funny moments， but book #5 is what really clinched the series for me。 Jessie is still growing into her power more and more each day， but it's not just about her anymore。 It's about how her entire crew is evolving。 What's more， they are finally getting out and getting to team up against some of the magical elite。 Oh boy， and when they do， it's absolute fireworks。 Some of the timing of events was perf This is quite possibly my favorite book in the series。 Each book up until now， had its quirks and funny moments， but book #5 is what really clinched the series for me。 Jessie is still growing into her power more and more each day， but it's not just about her anymore。 It's about how her entire crew is evolving。 What's more， they are finally getting out and getting to team up against some of the magical elite。 Oh boy， and when they do， it's absolute fireworks。 Some of the timing of events was perfectly planned， so I found myself flipping page after page because I needed to know if everyone made it out unscathed。 And Edgar。 My dear Edgar becomes my favorite character just a little bit more each time。 Sure， Mr。 Tom is there for the perfect comic relief， but Edgar is just so endearing I can't help but want to befriend him in real life。 One of my favorite quotes from this book is actually about him:"You are the only reason why I allow that sort of madness near my home， I hope you know that，" Austin said。。。 "If you eve wonder how much you mean to me， look no further than Edgar hanging out in my yard with a spray bottle。" I also found it really neat how， now that we have seen another side of Elliot Graves from book 4， I was really rotting for both sides。 It didn't feel so much like good vs。 evil， but rather a spark of hope that the characters I'd come to love made it out ok。 One thing I've come to appreciate about KF Breene， is that even though some scenes are emotional， it's rare that she'll ever rip my heart out and stomp on it。 She always has a plan， and for that reason， I know that I will continue to love her books。 。。。more
